And how about an endless supply of unique BariJ art!
*
It was calling my name!
and I must mention
the hand...
Yes, the hand!
Hand - The way the fabric feels when it is touched. Terms like softness, crispness, dryness, silkiness are all terms that describe the hand of the fabric. A good hand refers to shape retention without stiffness.
I'd never worked with Art Gallery Fabrics - what a wonderful experience.
The hand was soft, silky, and pliable.
When cut there was little fray.
It was perfect for needle turn applique -- perfect in every way!
I used a lovely collection of

ReplyDeleteHallo Karen:-).I'm your quiet admirer for some time. Beautiful quilt, as always! I quilt on Janome MC6600P with a ruler foot- following Amy Johnson and her Freemotionquiltingadventures. There are no quilting templates available in my country but I needed to give a try to quilting with rulers, so I made some guides myself from CDs glued together, straight school ruler with the handle etc. Now I know I love it! I believe I will have to buy some rulers with my poor fortune with games but nevertheless I will play with my machine forever. Have a great day! Best regards from Poland, Europe :-)
